Meet the men who tweet for UKIP!

I will freely admit that this blog is written by horrors of horrors an old fashioned feminist. That sentence alone will a cause any UKIP men on twitter to immediately go into overdrive on the sandal, lesbian, ugly, unmarried shrill comments. So this blog is in praise of the some of the greatest hits of the UKIP twitter male.

Number One – Marty Caine – UKIP organiser from Poole Dorset

Type the words Marty Caine Blocked into twitter search and you get pages of tweets where either Marty is blocking someone or someone is gleefully announcing they have been blocked by Marty.

20140630-202059-73259218.jpg

Marty has a long and noble history of making excuses for the EDL

20140630-213516-77716527.jpg
which culminated in him accusing Lee Rigby’s parents of being idiots, he then threatened to sue anyone who accused him of this.
Marty also dislikes teachers and believes that those who work in public service should at least be apolitical and perhaps should not vote at all.
Marty has a friend Greg Cook .. Apparently a comedian described as a Les Dawson of the 21st century – enough said. He usually appears when Marty does but is basically just a boring sidekick with little original thought.

Number 2 Lawrence Brewer – a Brighton football fan he obviously needs to get his kicks somewhere other than on the football pitch.

Lawrence thinks all anti ukip accounts are paid trolls – he has been known to spend hours tweeting demands that Slatukip fess up to being paid by someone, anyone! His other obsessions are Muslims and recently he has joined up with some of the South Africans who believe that white genocide is ongoing. His bio says he hates extremists and equates Hope Not Hate with the EDL and BNP. To say he is somewhat confused is to put it mildly. Apparently a failure to support those who would like a return to apartheid was racism .. Who would have known! He also has a problem with feminists and is obsessed with tits and quotas

Number Three David Jones

20140630-205940-75580900.jpg
David should join the EDL and be done with it, his tweets vary from comments on the EU to exaggerated bigoted nonsense that insults all Muslims without ever focusing on a small number of extremists. His most recent focus was to get his thong in a twist over kids who speak English as second language

Number Four Fight4UK

Now to be fair I am assuming this is a man but I could be wrong. He certainly spends an inordinate amount of time on the TL of womendefyukip and womensayno2ukip .. Being as rude as possible. He is another Muslim obsessed UKIP tweeter, with a nice line in memes of the “all Muslims are extremist” design. He likes to ask questions but never finds the answers satisfying to his exacting standards.. He also assumes that anyone who is anti ukip is on benefits. He also likes to call women tramps ..

20140630-213237-77557113.jpg

Number Five Sinkaspud

A new face on the block. Seems to hate women with an opinions that does not match his. He has a problems with maternity pay, maternity leave, women who want to work and be mothers – the list goes on and on. His most recent focus is the womendefyukip accounts ( and yes they are run by two separate women ) .. His latest misogynistic tweets today included this. Frankly I feel a bit sorry for the spud, the modern world with opinionated women must be so scary.

Number Six UKIP Roger Da Costa – Kingston UKIP

He only ever has 323 tweets, despite tweeting all day every day. A candidate for the tin foil hat for conspiracy theories, much amusement can be had be reading this blog from Tim Fenton at zelo street. There is little point in questioning his huge whoppers as he hardly ever replies and deletes all his tweets daily.

Number Seven Anthony Clark – secondskin471

His bio states racism will offend, however he seems happy to abuse women . He is also happy to spend his time making the assumption that all Muslims are evil and out to destroy the UK, another one who confuses UKIP with the EDL. The fact that he thinks Katie Hopkins has anything worth saying on female equality sums his entire attitude up in a single tweet

Number Eight Thomas Evans

Thomas proudly announces that he is a UKIP member on his bio .. His tweets, in common with all on this list, show a propensity to believe anything posted by Breitbart news as gospel truth. Thankfully he avoids the Muslims are all bad and so on that front he is relatively sane! On the other hand he quotes Paul Nuttell and Roger Helmer as being purveyors of common sense – so perhaps sanity is an issue. I have seen Thomas telling racists where to go which is refreshing.. But then there is this

20140701-070104-25264435.jpg

UPDATE .. Thomas has turned into a first class whiner

IMG_4430.PNG

The tweet he refers to is this so not a fake, the blog I put it in is here . Apparently I am a Scottish and therefore a liar, Ukip logic never fails to astound.

Number Nine UKIPalotmoreIan or as I like to call him “ukip a lot of moron”

Ian is a member of bluehand – a deeply homophobic islamaphobic failure of an organisation – nothing else really needs to be said.

There are of course many more, not least Nigel, Roger, Paul and David Coburn – but then we all know what their problems are!

  1. Reblogged this on Beastrabban’s Weblog and commented:
An old style feminist presents her rogues’ gallery of UKIP men, posting misogynist, anti-Muslim rants on twitter. I have to say I find Marty Caine confusing. It’s not because I don’t think he should be included in the list. He should, as he’s one of the most frothing lunatics the party has. It’s simply his name. It’s the same as the great female comedienne of the ’70s and ’80s, who sadly passed away from cancer several decades ago. She was genuinely, intentionally funny, however, while her namesake is just a bigoted, reactionary nutter.

  2. Thankyou, I am proud to be a UKIP member but it’s a shame that you have only painted people as being that which you have wanted people to read. My bio says allot more than you have written.

You show that my tweets have a “propensity to believe anything posted by Breitbart news as gospel truth” – I’m guessing you were absent from Twitter when I disagreed with Raheem Kassam Managing Editor of Breitbart London the other day.
I think Breitbart publishes allot of interesting information. Doesn’t mean I believe it to be “gospel”.

As for Paul Nuttell and Roger Helmer, I presume you are talking about the same Paul Nuttell and Roger Helmer who were democratically elected by the Nation to be MEPs?
The same Roger Helmer who cut the Conservative party lead in Newark during the recent bi-election? Miles ahead of the Labour candidate I might add?

YOU might not like them but they definitely speak about subjects that resonate with people.

“I have seen Thomas telling racists where to go which is refreshing.” – I find racists repulsive much like UKIP do. When I see racist or homophobic comments I tell people where to go.

My ex girlfriend is a black physiotherapist (she was deported for the record back to Jamaica) and it is one of the reasons I support UKIP because of their policies of reconnecting with the Commonwealth.

As for your screen-capturing my tweet and posting it on a website. Did you ask permission to use my tweet? The answer to that question is no.

Why did I post the above tweet?
Because I believe it is an issue at present. I recently complained to Offcom about a really questionable advert that Channel 4 had run about a black British couple being prayed upon by a stereo-typical white youth dressed in a baseball cap. Some may have seen it. It received numerous complaints and was removed from the air. There have been numerous other adverts for products etc that employ the same stereotypical method and it has gotten silly.

I also find other methods of advertising quite racist but shall go into that another time.

But I will say one thing about this article.
Before you accuse people of something and post screen pictures don’t you at least think it would be a good idea if you asked for their opinions before slamming them…

    1. Thomas, I am afraid that ukip rarely find racists appalling, they frequent your message broads and FB page the ukip hashtag on twitter – that you have challenged racists on twitter makes you one of a select few identifiable UKIP members who has. As for your mistaken belief that UKIP will help the commonwealth .. By far largest numbers of migrants to the UK are already from the commonwealth, we trade extensively with commonwealth nations and offer them long term aid of the sort that improves the life chances of individuals and the overall economy of the country. Ukip are a libertarian party who believe in trade liberalisation .. That has destroyed African farmers.
I have plenty written plenty of serious blogs, this was a bit of fun at the start of hate the long summer holidays – perhaps you should take is as such for up until the point you asked me to take Helmer seriously you were doing so well!
I note that your comment on twitter was to say I was a UKIP hater – perhaps read my blog on libertarianism as that addresses any issue of hatred. I do not need permission to use your tweet it’s in the public domain.
Finally you were not in the original blog entry – yours was a suggestion from several someones frustrated by your bombastic attitude and your failure to listen.

      1. “Thomas, I am afraid that ukip rarely find racists appalling”

Really? Why is it that they are the only party that ban former Far Right members and immediately remove and ban people who have posted racist comments then?

Plenty of examples of racism at the different parties ignored. Yet you focus on UKIP.

You forget to mention that UKIP have numerous reps and Councillors of different Nationalities, ethnicities and religions. But again… Selective memory when it comes to such things.

“they frequent your message broads and FB page the ukip hashtag on twitter” As do others at other parties. Yet I shut down comments of that sort when I see them and I also block people from the groups up moderate when they express offensive views.

I also wish to note that there is a more formal Facebook UKIP page which is run by normal every day people and expressing offensive views is not accepted.

If you are found to have expressed offensive comments and try to join UKIP or are found out after joining UKIP you get chucked out no questions asked.

What other parties boasts that kind of action against members who express questionable views?

“that you have challenged racists on twitter makes you one of a select few identifiable UKIP members who has.”

That is where you are wrong.
Numerous UKIP members, supporters and candidates have opposed bigotry. The fact you don’t take the time to witness it is more a reflection of your one person vendetta against the party.

“As for your mistaken belief that UKIP will help the commonwealth .. By far largest numbers of migrants to the UK are already from the commonwealth, we trade extensively with commonwealth nations and offer them long term aid of the sort that improves the life chances of individuals and the overall economy of the country.”

Whilst we do have some migration from the Commonwealth it is not from a widely balanced spread of countries. The migration mostly comes from a few countries.
The Commonwealth has been increasingly ousted by the EU policy on visas, so non-EU Commonwealth citizens have to obtain visas whilst citizens of even new EU entrants have automatic entry.
The close successful nature of the Commonwealth with Britain is being lost.

But your bigotry against UKIP aside and read the following: http://www.ukipmeps.org/news_633_Remember-the-Commonwealth-You-should.html

“Ukip are a libertarian party who believe in trade liberalisation .. That has destroyed African farmers.”

What on Earth are you talking about?!

“I have plenty written plenty of serious blogs”

Really you will have to show me sometime… I have read plenty of your blogs and articles and most come across as anti-UKIP anti British-Identity rants…

“this was a bit of fun at the start of hate the long summer holidays – perhaps you should take is as such for up until the point you asked me to take Helmer seriously you were doing so well!”

This is where you let yourself down in your articles and you cross the divide between the debate and hatespeak.

You say Mr Helmer’s name like it’s a personal insult.
Whilst you might not like his views on Gay Marriage, that is his choice as a Christian.
If he was a Muslim and was saying the same thing would you be constantly putting him down? No of course not. You wouldn’t dare.

The simple think is he is a well spoken, informed and considered white gentleman of a advanced age and this makes him an easy target for you.
I wonder if you made any comments against him when he was a Conservative?

“I note that your comment on twitter was to say I was a UKIP hater – perhaps read my blog on libertarianism as that addresses any issue of hatred.”

I encourage anyone reading this to look at your Twitter profile and the ratios of posts and what they are about.
I would say 90% plus are of a fixated nature on UKIP. @LiberalIsland
Looking at your last 20 tweets 18 of them are about or attacking UKIP. Including Retweets of your last 100 tweets 90 of them were about UKIP.
You are fixated on UKIP. Plain and simple.

“I do not need permission to use your tweet it’s in the public domain.”

Maybe not. But as I said. You posted it without any context.
You posted it as you have done with other tweets from other UKIP members without any of the surrounding conversation as a stand alone tweet.
This is taking content out of context.
I further notice that in a couple of instances above you have taken blocks of Tweets from people’s Twitter pages and removed the tweets inbetween. Effectively editing a conversation and debate to suite your agenda.

You have published my name and user ID without my permission and this count be considered incitement to cause harm to myself and others.

How would you like it if someone published your full name on a blog?
Your name and location is not on your Twitter account is it? How brave of you… Yet you don’t seem to have any problem publishing other people’s information out of context in an attempt to incite hatred?

You accuse UKIP of many things yet you stoop to some of the things you accuse them of within the confines of your own blog for goodness sakes!

“Finally you were not in the original blog entry – yours was a suggestion from several someones frustrated by your bombastic attitude and your failure to listen.”

I listen to everyone I speak to on Twitter. But when it comes to abuse I block.
One of the people above in your comments section who has “encountered” me on Twitter resorted to foul and abusive tweets so I blocked them.

If you cannot debate without foul and abusive language. Something I note you yourself have resorted to numerous times in the past then you will get blocked by me…

…as you have been so long long ago!

      2. I will reply to the last bit .. Thomas find me one example of foul and abusive language on my TL .. Good luck with that one as I rarely if ever swear!

      3. I focus on the racism in UKIP because it us prevalent and because the libertarian wing of the party would like to claim that by simply ignoring it it will go away

      4. Helmer is a disgrace, it is not attitude to women it is his attitude to science I find offensive and dangerous. His energy policy is one that ignores the vast majority of scientific evidence, to the detriment of all humanity

      5. The account is focused on ukip .. Does that mean I hate you NO .. I am mildly amused .. I have a personal account for the rest of my life. This is my political account!

      6. Trade liberalisation .. Opening up markets in Africa for free trade at the behest of libertarian types has been a disaster for African farmers .. It is the one thing I passionately do not agree with as regards the EU – although their have been improvements and now it is the USA hammering them.

      7. Oh Thomas. There’s a lot written back-and-forth here so let’s shift the focus away from your Twitter account and on to UKIP in general. Your party have had more support in the last two years than at any other point in their history. That’s great, but with increased support comes increased scrutiny. You have two options when responding to said scrutiny: i) Take it on board when it is constructive and think of ways to make your party better, or ii) be eternally disappointed in other people for saying such things, get defensive and feel like the world is against you. [ii) is usually accompanied by juvenile arguments such as ‘other people are doing it’.]
Let me help you out with an example. Someone calls UKIP a racist party. You are free to claim that: there are racists in Lib/Lab/Con; the media has a conspiracy against us; we can’t be racist because we have black members; [insert defensive remark here]. But wouldn’t it sound better to say something like, ‘It’s getting better. We’re not there yet but we are weeding out racist members. I can see why people say that because one of our very few policies at the moment is immigration and we spend a lot of time talking about it, but hopefully we will emphasise economic policy in the future and perceptions will change.’?
You let yourself down with your permanent sense of outrage – it was evident during your brief time on our facebook page and seems to still prevail in the parts of your Twitter account and blog that I have skimmed through. I understand it somewhat – parties which are small in terms of elected representatives are more likely to feel like the world is against them when criticised. Analogy: If a United fan slagged off your team, Blackburn Rovers, there would be a LOT more offence taken than if it was the other way round – it’s a big/small thing, I get it. But you seem quite unhappy and I don’t know why, since you have a lot going for you (some of your photography is excellent, for example).

    2. For someone who proudly stands for British values, your spelling and grammar of your own cherished language are atrocious.
      Take it from a Frenchman.

  3. Whilst to some degree I concur with this blog entry, having looked at your Twitter timeline, what was brought to my attention very early in the read was that you do appear to actually go looking for these people, and subsequently appear to constantly goad them into abusive responses with your seemingly endless probing.

Conversations that mostly start out at a reasonable level, then turn to jest, and eventually end up with abuse being thrown at you, where you then cherry pick the responses in order to seemingly promote yourself rather than expose the culprit of wrong doing.

I personally do not think their malice is toward women in general, but seemingly to you alone, and I find it a little disturbing that you appear to carry so much bitterness to be quite frank.

    1. You seem to be looking at examples that are aimed at the two womendefyukip accounts. My TL avoids mentioning any of those written about, unless they directly mention me or alternatively tweet abuse at any of the accounts that I follow. I hardly need to cherry pick an account that calls women tramps or those that talk about Muslims as if they are a lower form of life.if their malice is against me as a tweeter and they choose to make it about my gender than that itself says a lot hysteria ability to have a mature discussion on any front. There are some very interesting and erudite men and women who tweet their support for UKIP, with whom a discussion may be had. However there are those who are abusive, particularly towards the womendefy accounts but also towards me, and it is very much gender based abuse, not poltical. As for bitterness I have none, I am amused and saddened that a party with a libertarian agenda will never adequately represent myself, my daughter the working person the list goes on.

      1. In actual fact, I’m quite disgusted by the womendefyukip’s tweets. They seem to be intent on destroying anyone supporting that particular political party by any means necessary. The way they behave is not the way I feel women should implement themselves. No ground is gained by vindictive, immature behaviour, and only serves to hinder our case rather than nurture it.

You do have a little more decorum than they, though having looked through your conversations, I find that you begin by being nice before spending as long as you can goading a person into saying something you do not like in order to further your credibility on this blog.

I find it particularly sad that you somehow do not see that some of those comments are obviously sent in order for you to go away. Debating a topic is wonderful, though you may not always agree with the person you are debating with, but like us, men are entitled to their view (however closed minded we may find it) and should be treated with the same respect as we ourselves demand to be respected.

I am quite ashamed of your behaviour if I’m brutally honest. There are ways and means to tackle people and this is not one of those ways. I highly recommend that you sit and take stock of your vendetta against UKIP men, and maybe focus your attention on fighting for us women.

Detrimental blogs such as this take our movement further back instead of further forward, in that it appears as though your hatred stretches way beyond the men of UKIP, which is a place that we do not wish to be. We’ve spent many years gaining ground, please think before you continue to harm it.

Stand up for yourself and women alike, but please do not bring detrimental behaviour and personal angst. Thank you.

      2. I have no vendetta and I frequently challenge the women as well. Of course men are entitled to their view and I and others are entitled to ridicule it if we choose. I had and still do use a raft of statistics, reports, facts to back up my point of view – if these are then ignored and ridiculed I will highlight their views to others. Perhaps you should look through my blog, without the high horse. There is a mix of serious and non serious, and most recognise this. There is also an element of “catch you if I can” Those who choose to challenge my point of view, or get into a conversation with me know what to expect.
What I find depressing is that if I had written this as a man, you would have made no comment, you are asking me to have a higher standard of debate than the men/women I debate with because you believe that is the way the argument is won. If you check carefully I never swear, I rarely make personal comments and I do not comment on the looks, the age, the marital status, the single motherhood of the people I talk to – that is where I hold the moral high ground!
Again you seem to think I hate .. There is a blog on here about libertarianism I suggest you read it – I have been accused of hate before, I do not hate people.

      3. And just for the record, should we not be more concerned with the current state of our country before worrying about what we shall gain from voting a particular way?

If we are not concerned for our country, then why should our country be concerned with us as a movement? A vote is for everyone, not just for oneself.

      4. I am concerned for my country and nature of the political debate where equality legislation is seen by one party as being unnecessary is of deep concern to me. Many men and women are being sucked into a mind set that leads them to believe that anything the government does to ensure equality is BIG government and therefore unnecessary. As a movement at some point a political stance must be taken. If one party is determined to go down the libertarian small government route, a party that frequently says that there is no glass ceiling and no discrimination – then organisations must decide wether they challenge or choose to ignore and live with the consequences

      5. I think you’[ll find that many men and woman have been sucked into a mind set from every government we have all voted for and seen, have we not. The country takes priority over all, therefore, I shall reserve my judgement on all parties and their leaders next year, rather than mock the usual and now it would seem mock the alternative.

      1. I shall answer your points later this evening.

However, what I find rather worrying is that I was assured by this comment (Address never made public), and had naturally assumed that no part of my email address would be revealed.

This is NOT the way to behave in order to gain favour.

      2. I am not here to gain favour from anyone, not least someone who uses an organisations email address to comment on a blog. I would NEVER reveal any details of a private email address – you are writing from a company address.

      3. You should be revealing nothing though should you? Regardless of where I am emailing from.

      4. You seem a little concerned, is that you should not use that email address in a private capacity .. to suggest that an organisation has a point of view that suggests I am bitter. It is an organisation I admire very much, one that would and does not meet with the approval of the libertarian wing of UKIP. However making suggestions that someone is bitter .. Well that does not reflect well on the organisation.

      5. I think you'[ll find that many men and woman have been sucked into a mind set from every government we have all voted for and seen, have we not. The country takes priority over all, therefore, I shall reserve my judgement on all parties and their leaders next year, rather than mock the usual and now it would seem mock the alternative.

      6. I was conversing with you on a direct level was I not? Therefore there was little reason to reveal any part of my email address. By doing so you have sought to gain favour for points, and betrayed me as a woman as a result.

I;m sorry to say that your bitterness stretches far beyond anything I could have imagined. Therefore, I shall remove myself from further dealings and consequent betrayal and leave this forum forthwith.

I wish you well in your little corner of limelight and may you find the peace in life which you so richly desire.

        Goodbye.

      7. One last thing. For such a wonderful woman, how did your original twitter account manage to be suspended? They do not suspend you for no reason.

Please, let it go, it’s not doing you any good.

      8. it was suspended because a white supremacist decided that he thought a Jewish mother of a mixed race child should not be on twitter and asked his friends for the account to be mass reported .. You are very naive – I suggest you check out the blog on blocking trolls – UKIP have also done this, luckily the womendefyukip had the help on Bonnie Greer in getting the account back.

      9. Yet on your Twitter account you have the following:

“The alternative account to @aliberallife .. Thanks to #ukip.”

So it wasn’t “suspended because a white supremacist decided that he thought a Jewish mother of a mixed race child should not be on twitter and asked his friends for the account to be mass reported”

If that was truly the case then why have you blamed a political party that you don’t agree with?

One way or another you have proved yourself to be a whopping great liar haven’t you?

People like yourself and the other Twitter feminists set us back years I hope you know.

        Shame on you all!

      10. The thanks to ukip refers to the gentleman concerned who put me in the way of a white supremacist by retweeting the guy .. It’s a long story .. Not one that I am inclined to share with someone quite as rude as you.

      11. I will also add, I find your use of the “fight against men” as rather telling. I do not intend to of want to fight men. I want to show up ignorant people who choose what they put on the public sphere of twitter.

      12. After deliberation I will be contacting feminista and asking them if this is his one of their volunteers/ workers should use their email address

      13. A tattle tale as well as a fibber? Is there no end to your shame?

By all means do. Diego I’m sure will be pleased to hear from you, and most probably no be particularly keen that you have revealed my email, even if it was in part.

Something I feel I should report to wordpress I’m sure, since you’re breaking wordpress, along with an individuals rules.

        Goodbye

      14. Please do, as I did not print your entire email address. I have not lied but never mind you carry on. Perhaps visit he womendefyukip FB page and read the comments of women on there. They are not disgusted they are angry!

    2. Jenny you have made a comment below showing concern at this bloggers willingness to post personal information.

By posting screen pictures of people’s names, ID’s and locations she is doing exactly that.

Posting personal information which could be used to attack people.

      Be warned.

      1. Please show me where I have put any info about people’s names, locations and ID’s that are either on their bios or in information they themselves have out on a public medium ..as for her email address I have not printed it or her full name.

      2. You’ve given the url of my email address and my name is on each post I have made … How hard do you really think it would be to obtain my email address from your disclosure?

Disgraceful behaviour do you not think?

      3. I did not print your address, it’s not your private address, your full name is not on here. You should not have used a charities email address to be quite rude and offensive

      4. A little late now don’t you think? My email, regardless of what it may be should have been protected under wordpress rules and your ethics though shouldn’t it?

And yes, I am sure you will enjoy the conversation. As will I.

  4. The left are getting desperate. Beats having any credible policies or being able to run an economy. Any economy . ..

    1. The left .. Who mentioned the left, perhaps look to the only economy in the World that was libertarian in nature .. Chille it required a dictatorship to be successful!

  5. LOL compared to some of the people who tweet for LIB/LAB/CON these guys are postively divine tbh. Glad you felt the need to make a pointless website in the attempt to degrade UKIP, it truly has been a hilarious read and view into your psyche’

    1. Good, so pleased you enjoyed it .. Perhaps have a read of all the blog entries and then comment with the same enthusiasm on them all. By the way no need to degrade UKIP they do that to themselves.

  6. If you have any worries about WordPress’s terms and conditions you could always use a hosting service and set up the blog on there. Just a suggestion, if you need any help just ask
